Sandro Vannini

Sandro Vannini was born in Rome in 1959 and currently lives in Viterbo (Italy) and Cairo (Egypt). He has worked as a professional photographer since 1980. His work, which has been frequently featured in major magazines, focuses on a wide range of subjects, ranging from illustration and geographic reportage, to architecture, archaeology, portraiture, and other visual arts. Apart from his work as a free-lance magazine photographer, Vannini has been working on a project published by the Bertelsmann Group in Germany, Spain, and Japan under the aegis of UNESCO on World Heritage. Since 1997 Vannini has been working on a project about Egyptian archaeological heritage.
