The Pyramids And Temples Of Gizeh
The Pyramids And Temples Of Gizeh
This important and rare work by W. M. Flinders Petrie, originally published in the 1880s, is reprinted here by Kessinger as part of its special Legacy Reprint Series.
The book is Petrie's 1880–82 survey of the Giza plateau, which included the Great Pyramid of Khufu and the relatively unknown Trial Site. It is possibly the most detailed Egyptian study ever undertaken by a surveyor.
