A History of Egypt, Volume II

A History of Egypt, Volume II
Petrie was an English Egyptologist and a pioneer of systematic methodology in archaeology. He excavated at many of the most important archaeological sites in Egypt, such as Naukratis, Tanis, Abydos and Amarna. He also tutored Howard Carter, who would later discover the Tomb of Tutankhamen.
Originally written in 1896, A History of Egypt, Volume II covers the XVIIth and XVIIIth dynasties. It followed Petrie's 1894 work, A History of Egypt, Volume I, which is subtitled 'From the Earliest Times to the XVth Dynasty'.
Previously out of print and also out of copyright, the books has been digitised and is now available on a print-on-demand basis from BiblioLife.
