Atlas of the Roman World

Atlas of the Roman World
by Tim Cornell, John Matthews
This comprehensive, three-part historical and cultural atlas documents the origins of Rome and Greek influence, the transition from Republican to Imperial Rome, and the rise and decline of the Roman Empire.
The book is now out of print and difficult to find – but well worth scouting out.
Aimed at an adult audience, it is clearly written and chock-full of useful information. A wonderful overview of Ancient Rome, it is both detailed and well-structured, meaning it is easy to navigate given its often complicated subject matter.
