Dr Marcus Muller is a professor of Egyptology at the University of Bonn in Germany, and one of the world's foremost authorities on the Book of the Dead. He has worked on the university's illustrious Totenbuch project for a number of years, and has thus produced several influential books on the subject, including The Bibliography of the Egyptian Book of the Dead pt2, which he co-edited with Holger Kockelmann and Burkhard Backes, and The Book of the Day - in which Dr Muller examines and critiques Alexandre Piankoff's 1940 work on the Book of the Day examples that were found in the tomb of Ramesses VI.
