Ancient World in London Bloggers Challenge 1: Invasions

Bloggers Challenge 1: Invasions, which is led by E. P. Wohlfart,  is the first in a series of competitions for ancient world bloggers. The theme of this first installment in the series is 'Which invaders have had the biggest impact on London?'

Writers are invited to blog about this subject, and add a link to their blog on the main page of the Bloggers' Challenge. The post that is judged to be the best wins a top prize of five books, which can be chosen from the most recent Thames & Hudson catalogue.
