Freelance Egyptologist, Charlotte Booth, received her BA (Hons) and MA in Egyptian Archaeology from University College London in 2000 and 2002. Since graduating she has taught for various adult institutions including amongst others, Birkbeck College in London. She has spoken internationally on various aspects of Egyptology although her specialties lie in Foreigners and Ethnicity in ancient Egypt, and the Amarna Period. She has written numerous scholarly articles and books including The Boy Behind the Mask; meeting the real Tutankhamun and Ancient Egyptians for Dummies which brings Egyptology to the masses and in 2006 she worked on the EAIS project for the Supreme Council of Antiquities in Cairo as an archaeological researcher. Charlotte has been praised for her fun, relaxed and enthusiastic teaching style which is present in her written work, bringing the people of the past to life.
