The Romans hated her, the Celts fought for her and now she is immortalised with a statue in Westminster. But who was Boudicca? The latest video in the Ancient World in London series looks at how her name is often misspelt, how her bloodthirsty rage was caused by the death of her husband and raping of her daughters and how the Romans beat her to within an inch of her life. The story of how she sacked three Roman cities in Britain is uncovered, and how she fell at the Battle of Watling Street.

'Going Underground' is part of the National Science and Engineering Week.
Join Dr. John Troyer for a pictorial tour of the twenty-seven million dollar Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky USA.
Since its opening in May 2007, around 835,000 visitors have witnessed the spectacle of animatronic dinosaurs playing with children, walked through a scale model of Noah's Ark, enjoyed creationist cosmology shows in the 78-seater planetarium, and marvelled at the large-scale Garden of Eden diorama, complete with vegetarian Tyrannosaurus – all in firm support of a “young earth,” Christian explanation of the planet.
Dr. Troyer’s presentation will closely (and humorously) examine the relationships between Creationism, Intelligent Design, and Evolution in America.

London may be a city of pubs, shops, skyscrapers and infathomable public transport, but its Roman heritage is vast. And while much of Londinium is hidden from view, there are plenty of fascinating sites at ground level. One man who's devoted a huge time and effort to uncovering the city's ancient past is Ian Smith, a businessman with a love for the capital. "I've always been interested in history," he says, "coming down from Liverpool in 1969 to London and thinking, 'What a fantastic city.'"
